Sources and method
Kwenta is an independent tool. It is not affiliated with SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG Fund, BIR or any government agency. Results are estimates, not tax or legal advice.
Where the numbers come from
Every rate comes from the issuance named below: a circular, revenue regulation or law. Links go to the issuing agency, or to the issuance itself where the agency publishes it online. Rates were last checked on 2026-10-29.
- SSS Circulars 2024-006, 2024-008, 2024-010
- PhilHealth Circular 2020-0005 (UHC Act, RA 11223); 2026 rate via PIA
- HDMF Circular No. 460
- BIR RR 11-2018 Annex E (Revised Withholding Tax Table, 2023 onwards)
- NIRC Sec. 24(A)(2) as amended by TRAIN (RA 10963); RR 8-2018; NIRC Sec. 116
- PD 851; NIRC Sec. 32(B)(7)(e) as amended by TRAIN
What the calculators leave out
- Allowances, overtime, night differential, de minimis benefits and absences.
- SSS voluntary, non-working spouse, kasambahay and sea-based OFW schedules.
- PhilHealth rules for OFWs, senior citizens and indigent members. Pag-IBIG MP2 savings.
- Semi-monthly, weekly and daily withholding tables. We use the monthly table.
- Combining salary and business income under graduated rates, and VAT-registered taxpayers.
When rates change
SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG and BIR announce changes through circulars and revenue regulations. We re-check every January and whenever a new issuance comes out. If you spot a rate that looks out of date, the agency's own publication is always the final word.
