How this is computed
- SSS: your pay is rounded to a Monthly Salary Credit (₱5,000 to ₱35,000). You pay 5% of it. The part above ₱20,000 goes to your MPF savings.
- PhilHealth: 5% of basic pay (counted between ₱10,000 and ₱100,000), split equally with your employer.
- Pag-IBIG: 2% of pay up to ₱10,000, so at most ₱200 (1% if you earn ₱1,500 or less).
- Withholding tax: BIR monthly table (effective 2023 onwards) applied to pay minus the three deductions.
Questions
Why is my payslip different from this?
Payslips can include allowances, overtime, absences, loans or company benefits. This calculator uses basic monthly pay and the mandatory deductions only.
Which deductions are taken before tax?
Your share of SSS (including the MPF part), PhilHealth and Pag-IBIG is subtracted first. Withholding tax is computed on what is left.
Is the 2026 tax table different from 2025?
No. The BIR withholding table effective January 1, 2023 onwards still applies in 2026.
